Anti-aging — Skin treatments

Measured,
not estimated.

VISIA Skin Analysis.
8 parameters, 3 light modes

The VISIA system quantifies your skin condition across eight parameters, giving your specialist objective data to build a treatment plan, not a general recommendation.

The problem

Treatment without analysis
is guesswork.

Most anti-aging treatments are selected based on patient complaint, "I want to look less tired." Without objective data, the specialist is estimating. The right treatment for the wrong diagnosis produces mediocre results.

UV photography reveals sun damage accumulating under the surface, the strongest predictor of how your skin will age over the next decade. These are conditions invisible to the naked eye that determine your treatment priority.

What it measures

Eight dimensions
of skin health.

Three lighting modes, standard, UV and cross-polarised, reveal what cannot be seen at the surface.

Spots & UV spots

Surface pigmentation mapped by size and density. UV mode reveals subsurface melanin accumulation not yet visible, early sun damage that predicts future spots.

Wrinkles & texture

Line depth, length and coverage quantified. Surface roughness measured under cross-polarised light, revealing textural unevenness invisible to the naked eye.

Pores & redness

Pore count, size and distribution scored. Vascular irregularities, rosacea, couperosis, erythema, mapped by intensity and zone.

Porphyrins & evenness

Bacterial by-products visible under UV that contribute to acne. Overall colour homogeneity and tone distribution scored as a composite.

The process

From imaging
to treatment plan.

Imaging

Three standardised photos taken, frontal and both profiles, under each lighting mode. No preparation required. Duration: 5 minutes.

Analysis

Each parameter scored and compared to a reference database of your demographic, age, skin tone, gender. A relative benchmark, not just a number.

Plan

Your specialist reviews findings on screen and builds a treatment plan from the data, sequencing protocols by priority and realistic outcome.

What is included

What the analysis
gives you.

The skin analysis is the starting point for every anti-aging protocol at German Select. Also used at follow-up visits to track progress objectively against your baseline.

Questions

What patients
commonly ask.

What is a skin analyzer and how does it work?

A skin analyzer is a diagnostic imaging system that evaluates your skin on and below the surface.
It uses controlled light and high resolution imaging to measure texture, hydration, pigmentation, redness, and early structural changes.
The scan provides objective data that supports medical skin assessment and treatment planning.

Who should consider a skin analyzer assessment?

A skin analyzer is suitable if you want a clear understanding of your skin condition before starting treatment. It is commonly used by patients considering aesthetic procedures, skin rejuvenation, or preventive skin care. It is also valuable if you have sensitive skin or a history of previous treatments.

Can skin analyzer results be used for different treatments?

Yes.
Skin analyzer data can guide multiple treatments such as skin rejuvenation, laser procedures, RF treatments, and long term skin care planning. The scan helps determine which treatments are suitable and which should be avoided based on your skin structure.

Is a skin analyzer scan painful or invasive?

No.
The skin analyzer scan is non invasive and painless.
There are no needles, heat, pressure, or recovery time involved. You can resume normal activities immediately after the scan.

How long does a skin analyzer session take?

A full skin analyzer session typically takes 30 to 45 minutes. This includes medical consultation, scan acquisition, data review, and explanation of results.
You receive clear guidance during the same visit.

How often should a skin analyzer scan be repeated?

A skin analyzer scan is often repeated every 3 to 6 months when monitoring treatment progress. Follow up scans are compared with your baseline to measure real skin changes over time. This ensures treatment decisions remain data driven and medically justified.
